You will answer Part-A on a computer.

Part-B includes five questions designed to evaluate your design, drawing, and writing skills. The questions will appear on the computer screen, but you will write your answers in a provided answer booklet.

Your final CEED score will be determined by assigning 25% weightage to Part-A and 75% weightage to Part-B

Marks obtained in Part-A will be used to shortlist candidates. The cut-off marks (δ) for the GEN category will be determined using the formula μ + (σ/2) = δ, where μ is the average mark and σ is the standard deviation of marks scored by all candidates in Part-A of CEED 2024. Both μ and σ will be rounded to two decimal places. Candidates from reserved categories will have a relaxed cut-off: 0.9δ for OBC-NCL/EWS and 0.5δ for SC/ST/PwD. Only candidates shortlisted from Part-A will have their Part-B answer books evaluated. Part-B contains subjective questions without model solutions and will be assessed holistically based on the criteria provided in the questions. There is no provision for revaluation or re-totaling in CEED, and such requests will not be accepted under any circumstances. The final CEED score will be calculated by giving 25% weightage to Part-A marks and 75% weightage to Part-B marks.
