The basic eligibility criteria for IBPS PO are as follows:
Candidates must visit https://www.ibps.in/ to register and create their account on the official website of IBPS to fill up the application form.
By clicking on “new user registration”, a form will appear, in which candidates should fill their phone number, email ID, and name along with a captcha and “submit”.
After submitting these details, a mail will be generated and sent to the registered mail ID with a User ID and Password.
After registration, candidates can successfully log in to the IBPS official website with the given credentials.
Navigate to the IBPS exam section you are looking for such as IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, IBPS SO, etc.
Next, upload a current photo and signature as per the guidelines of IBPS.
The application form for IBPS exams contains some general sections including: personal details, educational qualifications, work experience, programmes, exam centre preferences, and declaration.
Preview the application after completion. Upload the left thumb impression and handwritten declaration. Candidates must ensure to fill in every detail correctly and according to the guidelines of IBPS to avoid unnecessary chaos as the filled details cannot be edited after submission.
Lastly, candidates need to submit the required fee for a particular IBPS exam.
The fee can be paid with any online payment method such as mobile banking, debit cards, credit cards, VISA, etc.
A receipt will be generated upon the successful fee payment. This receipt can be saved for future reference.

IBPS PO examination consists of two written tests and the entire test is computer-based. However, there is the provision of deducting 0.25 marks for every wrong answer in the prelims and mains IBPS PO exams.
IBPS PO Prelims 2024 Exam Pattern: The preliminary exam of IBPS PO 2024 comprises only objective-type questions, which means the questions follow the MCQ format. It has three sections and each section has to be completed within 20 minutes as the total time duration of the test is 60 minutes. The entire exam has 100 questions. 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
IBPS Clerk 2024 Preliminary Exam Pattern: The IBPS Clerk preliminary examinations are conducted online. A time limit of one hour is provided to finish this exam, hence, candidates must finish each section within 20 minutes. This exam contains a total of 100 questions, which follow an objective-type format only.0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. The exam has a qualifying nature so that the marks obtained by the candidates will not be considered for the merit list.
IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Pattern: The IBPS Clerk 2024 Mains Exam consists of 190 questions and a total of 160 minutes are given to finish the entire exam.The 2nd phase exam or mains exam is scoring in nature. 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. Previously, the Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability were held in two different sections. According to the recent updates by IBPS, both of these sections have been merged and will consist of 50 questions. Candidates will be provided with only 45 minutes to solve them.

The reservation criteria for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and OBC categories with an annual income of less than 8 lakhs are provided with 10% reservation in the IBPS 2024 exams as they fall under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) category. Other than this, these candidates are also provided with some relaxation in their upper age limit.
Furthermore, as per the legal guidelines and section 34, candidates with benchmark disabilities will fall under the reservation category for IBPS 2024 exam eligibility criteria. Given below are the categories which are eligible for reservation in this exam.

Candidates with Visual Impairment (VI) and Hearing Impaired (HI) categories, intellectual disability, and multiple disabilities.

The IBPS releases the answer key for the conducted exams after 1 month, which allows candidates to cross-check their answers and figure out an estimation of the right answers they have done in the exam. During this check, they can also claim an objection on doubted questions or answers within a stipulated time as per the IBPS.
