1. Registration for User ID and Password

On the official IBPS website, www.ibps.in, click the 'New Registration' button under the IBPS RRB section to create your user profile. Enter your basic details and generate the OTP by clicking on the 'Generate OTP' button. The OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP for verification to proceed.

Note: The recommended browsers to fill out the Application form are Mozilla Firefox (version 94 to 112), Google Chrome (version 88 to 113), and Microsoft Edge (version 88 to 113).

The entries on this form cannot be changed once submitted. Ensure that you enter the required information correctly.

2. Log in to the IBPS RRB Website

Using the system-generated User ID and Password received after registration, log in as a 'Registered Candidate' on the IBPS RRB website.

After logging in, you will be redirected to the Applicant Details page. Click on 'Go to Application' to proceed to the application page.

3. Fill Application Form

The Application Form is categorized into the following six sections: Personal Details, Academics, Work Experience, Programmes, Test City, and Declaration.

After completing the last section, i.e., Payment, your application for the IBPS RRB exam will be considered complete.

You will receive a confirmation email. Changes to any information provided on the application form are not possible after submission. You can only print or save the form.

The fee structure is as follows: ₹175 for SC, ST and PwD candidates. ₹850 for all other candidates.
The IBPS RRB exam admit card is a important document for candidates appearing for the examination. All candidates are required to carry this admit card to the exam centre on the day of their examination. Once the admit card is officially released by the IBPS, you can visit the official website of IBPS, which is www.ibps.in, and use your User ID and Password to log in and download the admit card.
Only candidates who have successfully registered and paid the IBPS RRB exam fee can download the admit card. The admit card contains essential information such as the test centre, exam date, rules, and other details related to the examination. Candidates must verify that all the information on the admit card is accurate. In case of any errors, candidates should immediately contact the authorities.

The IBPS RRB exam in 2024 has a structured pattern that helps you prepare effectively. This exam is divided into three main stages: Preliminary, Mains, and an Interview for certain posts. Please note that IBPS RRB shortlists candidates for the interview stage based on their own criteria, which may be independent of each other. Performance in the IBPS RRB 2024 examination is an important component in the admission process. The process may include the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Personal Interviews (PI). IBPS may additionally use other factors such as the previous academic performance of the candidates. They may also consider relevant work experience, regional language proficiency, and other similar inputs in shortlisting and ranking candidates at various stages of the admission process.
Candidate's IBPS RRB 2024 scorecards will be made accessible on the IBPS website. Candidates may also be informed individually by SMS. The IBPS RRB results are likely to be declared in September 2024. The IBPS RRB 2024 score is valid only till December 31, 2025, and will accordingly be accessible on the website. Thereafter, no queries related to the issuance of IBPS RRB 2024 scorecards will be entertained.

As per the legal requirements, 15% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, 27% for Other Backward Classes candidates belonging to the Non-Creamy layer (NC-OBC), up to 10% for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates, and 4% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).As defined in The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPwD Act 2016), “Person with Benchmark Disability” means a person with not less than forty per cent (40%) of a specified disability where the specified disability has not been defined in measurable terms and includes a person with a disability where the specified disability has been defined in measurable terms, as certified by the certifying authority.
