Within these categories, there are also reservations for persons with disabilities (PwD), economically weaker sections (EWS), and children of defence personnel. In addition, candidates from Maharashtra also benefit from a domicile-based reservation system. For those applying from outside Maharashtra, a limited number of seats are available under the All India Quota (AIQ), where no state-based reservations apply.
