The admission procedure for every course would be different. So here we have bifurcated the process of different level courses:
For Bachelor’s Level Programmes: The admission into bachelor’s level courses differs for some courses. Admission for some courses is based on the marks of an applicant in 12th grade or an equivalent degree. Some courses have an entrance exam scheduled for admission.
For Master’s Level Programmes: Mater’s level courses’ admission is based on the marks secured at graduation level or in any entrance exam that the university conducts. Admission is made based on the applicant’s score in the qualifying examination and in the entrance examination following the Government of Tamil Nadu reservation policy and the Admission Guidelines of the University.

You must submit the admission form duly filled out with requisite details and signed along with the mandatory documents.
You shall pay the applicable fees required for the admission process.
You shall receive the admission confirmation shortly after fee submission.
Here’s a quick summary of the university’s examination pattern.
Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) is followed for all the programmes at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.
Evaluation is based on continuous internal assessment (25%) and an end-semester examination (75%). The candidate must score a minimum of 50% in the end-semester examinations and 50% total in each theory paper.
University examinations are held at the end of each semester.
A minimum of 75% attendance is required to appear for the university examinations.
Students should register for all papers on the first appearance in each semester. Students may also apply for paper-wise appearance for arrears papers.
CGPA will be calculated when a student completes the required credits prescribed for the programme.

The marks obtained by the candidate (sum of external and internal marks) in a paper are multiplied by the credits assigned to that paper. Such weighted marks for all the courses are added and divided by the total credits.
