Getting selected at the Reserve Bank of India is a dream career option for many students. It is an entry-level position that falls under the management cadre. The selection of a Grade B Officer at RBI is done in three phases: preliminary, mains, and an interview in the final round. The Union Public Service Commission conducts the Civil Service Examination which is a highly competitive exam for recruitment in India. Under UPSC CSE, eligible candidates are recruited in the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service and Indian Police Service. Every year, lakhs of students appear for this exam. The UPSC conducts the nationwide Combined Defence Services exam twice a year. The CDS exam is conducted to select capable students for admission to the Indian Air Force Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy and Officer Training Academy. The recruitment process consists of a written examination, personality test, medical examination, and final merit list. To be eligible for this exam, you must be 20 to 24 years old. The Staff Selection Commission conducts a Combined Graduate Level exam for various government jobs suitable for B.Com graduates. Since you have already studied maths, economics, accounts and statistics in B.Com, SSC CGL is considered ideal for B.Com graduates.

Getting recruited as an Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) in the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is the goal of many aspiring candidates.
