UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2025

Minimum Qualification:

Candidates belonging to the General/Unreserved category or General-EWS require a minimum of 55% marks in their master’s degree.

A minimum of 50% marks in a master’s is crucial for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/Third Gender.

  • To apply, a 75% in a bachelor’s is necessary.

  • 5% relaxation is given to those belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/EWS categories.
